From Chicago to LA

​

       Rafael was born and raised in Chicago and like any Chicagogan, he will remind you every chance he gets. Despite being proud of his hometown, he always knew he'd end up in California pursuing his dreams.

       Before packing his bags, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from Columbia College and soon landed a role on the Children's TV series Green Screen Adventures. His performance also nabbed him a Chicago/Midwest Emmy Award nomination. 

     Upon arriving to LA, he hit the ground running. He immediately landed commercial and print work in addition to creating and starring in his award winning web series: Monogaymous. 

     This feat would finally help get his foot in the TV world. Rafael has worked on Jane the Virgin, Diary of a Future President, American housewife, The L Word: Generation Q, Brooklyn Nine Nine, and most recently the reboot of CSI: Vegas.
